Nice park, The park host were excellent. The only downside is there were no sewer dumps at the sites, and the water from the hydrant was very rusty.

Magnolia Ridge is a great park - the sites are large, and most have a view of the water. The park is well-maintained and surprisingly quiet. So much wildlife and nature to explore. We love it here!

Dont park on the grass. You might be subject to a very disrespectful ranger or whatever their title might be. They love to make threats.

Nice park to get away for the weekend. Very quite and the park staff are attentive. The bath houses could use a bit of updating but were very clean.

Our campsite was #37 which was very close to #38. Fortunately for us that large group of young folks left shortly after we arrived. The lake is right there close to campsites which is good and bad. The first night we counted 5 different alligators swimming very close to shore. The bath house was .4 miles from the campsite. If there was a camp host I am not sure whom it was. No one ever introduced themselves to us. These two campsites were quiet isolated, which we did like, but it would have been nice to know there was a host available should an emergency occur.

The moment we got here we knew we would enjoy our time here. Sites are clean, are spacious, and the view was serene. We visited Heritage Village Museum in nearby Woodville. People are very friendly. We would come here again.

Without fail every experience we have had through Recreation.gov has been stellar. We are chagrined to find any improvement possible before Magnolia Ridge. The hosts, Kenny and Lisa were above and beyond, before we arrived. They called to let us know our site was vacated early and they had already prepared it for our arrival. We arrived almost at dusk. Kenny met us at the gate with a flashlight. This trip was only overnight and we certainly must return to enjoy the beautiful area.

Our campsite was very nice. The people who were tending to the park were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms had a couple minor problems, but when we reported them, the problem was taken care of quickly. If you need supplies, Woodville and Jasper are both less than a 15 mile drive. Wish the fishing around the park was better. Didn't catch a single fish from shore.

Magnolia Ridge is a very lovely campground. I would recommend it for all. They do have Alligators so keep an eye on small children and pets.

Park is beautiful as always. But site 37 had a horrible and problem. Having sprayed multiple times we still came home with them in our trailer and vehicles. Park hosts used their personal ant poison, which slowed them down some. But didn't stop them. COE needs to get a handle on thia issue before it gets out of control.

Nice campground. The camp host was phenomenal! She keeps EVERY site meticulously clean! We don't have a boat or kayak yet so as far as the lake goes, not my favorite because it was quite swampy on the camp site side. However, we did get to see an ALLIGATOR that came by to hang out for a few hours so that was fun! Fortunately we have a self contained RV because our site was quite a walk from restrooms (mile). We say quite a bit of wild life. Beautiful variety of birds, deer and squirrel. Lots of animal activity which I love watching and photographing.
