We picked the best two weeks in September to come out to Holiday Texas. The weather was fantastic the lake had water and we caught fish. Came out to say goodbye to the camp hosts that were leaving and greet the new hosts replacing them. All in all a great time as usual.

Started out with a water problem. Two new pumps installed at the park left the water lines not primed. All worked well before we left. Lucked out with the weather. Beautiful days cool nights for Texas at the end of July anyway. Camp gate folks are great. Always glad to see us. Park ranger came by and was very helpful with the water situation and made sure we were having no problems. This is a great COE park.

The overall site was in a good location, but the site itself had a water leak that we noticed a few times before while camping in that loop. It appears they haven't fixed it yet. Made for a muddy mess with our dogs and trying to keep them away from the area. We couldn't walk behind our RV without standing in ankle deep water. Hope they fix it before summer!

The campground is beautiful with great sites. Unfortunately, the ground keeping was non existent. The grass had not been cut for a long time. Walking in the grass covered my feet to the point where I could not see your shoes. The area where the work campers stayed was well groomed though. I noticed that another camper had took out a weed eater from his rig to cut the grass around him so that his kids could play. Grass this high in East Texas can be dangerous as we do have rattlesnakes out here. Not to mention fleas and ticks.

Clean and well run park. Great pricing, especially for Seniors. Like the Security, close Entry Gates at night and patrolled day and night. Reserve the site you want !

We have been to Holiday park many times. We are on our 4th rv and have been to Holiday in each one. The park is a quiet, restful, and very local for us to enjoy. The park staff has always been friendly and helpful. The park rangers are very visible and always ready to answer any questions that may arise. The park is close to any activity you wish to persue whether back in Benbrook or Fort Worth as well as down to Godley or Granbury.

We love to stay at Holiday at Benbrook Lake. It's a clean and well maintained camping area. The gate attendants are friendly and helpful. We have a few favorite camp sites at the park. They have fishing piers and boat launch pads. Lots of area to ride bikes, jog or just walking. Fun to see the deer come out too.

The entire staff is friendly and super nice. I enjoy an early morning work, and loved seeing deer and rabbits each day. The campsites are spacious, and have covered picnic tables, very nice for having friends over. The only downer is no wifi, even using my phone as a hot spot was inconsistent.
