The park attendants are always very cordial.Looking forward to the keypad to get in after hours. That way we can spend more time with our grandchildren.

The campsite was fine. Trying to book a reservation is a nightmare. I tried to book online and the site kept telling me to try again. The wouldnt allow me to pay. So I tried calling the campground and they cant take payment then spent almost 2 hours on hold to try to pay.Only to be told to login online to pay.If I could have paid online why would I have called. Asked for supervisor and she was able to take my payment. Totally ridiculous and a pain in the neck just to book 2 nights at a local campground. Wont be back

Very nice Park to stay at. Quiet, friendly, bath houses are clean... We stay at Benbrook Lake a lot... Road to the park is finished and very nice. Don't forget your bikes and go for a ride. Gate attendants are always friendly and will always answer your questions. Highly recommend staying at Benbrook Lake RV park.....

Stayed 24 Feb-2 Mar 2021. Very friendly and helpful gate staff. Concrete pads are level with a lot of space between spots. Great areas to walk, bIke, hike and views of the lake are great. Very quiet, very few young kids around and well behaved. Not a lot for kids to do during winter months except bicycles, which was fine by us as we prefer the quiet. Lots of wildlife in the area: deer, birds, ducks on the water. Our spot had 50amp with water, but no sewer. Area has 2 dump stations, one near exit and one on north side of park. They provide fire rings, bbq. You can pick up and use wood from the trees that have fallen, but not allowed to cut trees. There are plenty of dumpsters around the whole park for trash, even in the nature areas. Plenty of RV and tent camping areas. Several boat docks. Bathhouses were not open due to COVID. Closest town is Granbury, about 25 miles away.
Reason for 4 stars is due to trees not being trimmed high enough to get our RV in/out w/o scratches. Our RV is large, 44 ft long, 13.6 ft high. If yours is smaller, you’ll have no problems. We used our America the Beautiful senior pass and paid $14 per night
We plan on going back, thought it was great.
