Clean sites, friendly hosts, and the new restroom is incredible. Hope all the restrooms are scheduled to be upgraded to this. The pelicans are back the geese come in every evening and the deer are all over the park.

Really the only complaint that I have about this campsite this time around (we've camped at this exact spot before), was that the tree needed to have the branches clipped back. They were hanging so low that we couldn't use our awning from our camper, and we could have used it as it did rain for about half the time we were there.

The camp site was clean. The staff was friendly. They are dog friendly, which is a big thing for us.

Was great. Grandkids rode jetskis. Close to stores if you need anything.

Enjoyable weather and bird watching. Lake is low, shore fishing is poor.

power kept going out, boat ramp was closed fishing dock sitting on the ground could not fish water was inches deep the Army core let all the water out of the lake because it flooded in spring . They need better control of the water by the time it goes over the spill way it floods the camps. they cant let it out fast enough to control flooding so they drain the lake in case it rains and you cant even boat. they offered to refund our money but we stayed anyway.

Loved the park! Disappointed that the photo that was with our site was a pull through right on the water and we were about 4 spots from there with a back in.

As usual we had a great time. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the park is beautiful and clean. There are a few things that still need attention. First and (to me) most important the light at the boat ramp and the boat loading dock need to be fixed! This is a major safety issue. Without the use of the boat-dock (detached from walk-way and closed) it is necessary to load and unload boaters at the shoreline, and given the number of stumps and trees in the area the light on the fishing dock is just not enough to insure the safety and well-being of visiting park boaters.

Nice campground. Wish they had sewer hook up. But we made it work
