Was a nice stay except for the Issue with ants trying to invade the camper and we had to put ant retardant to stop the invasion. There was also the issue with the restrooms not being clean.

Grass and weeds were out of control & high. Picnic table area had lots of wood pieces from fallen trees that needed cleaned up.

Nice quiet park with plenty to do. Everything was well maintained and staff was friendly. I didnt have any issues with the Argentine ants but used some ant poison regardless. Would go again!

Navarro Mills is a wonderful park to stay at. The staff on every occasion we have even there has been over the top friendly. We love going to this park

Oak Park is our fav camp. It's nice, clean, quiet, picturesque and has roomy spots.

Beautiful location. Quiet. Spacious campsites. Clean bathrooms. Very nice and helpful Staff. We will definitely stay there again.

Only stayed one night at Oak (site 14) - did not experience any problems with Argentine ants - the campground had nice, spacious sites broken up into a few smaller clusters, each having its own well-maintained bathroom. Unsupervised swimming area was spacious but shallow. Nice shore areas/docks for fishing. Interesting nature path (lots of birds) but needs clearing of blowdowns to be able to complete loop. Beautiful lake views. Very well-maintained, clean, nice staff and hosts!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay recently! This was our maiden voyage with our 36 fifth wheel RV. The trip from our home to the campground did not go as we had hoped and was plagued with problems. When we finally arrived at the campground after dark, the hosts greeted us at the booth. They were extremely helpful. When they informed me that our 50 amp trailer would need a 30 amp adapter, and that I did not have one, he said that we would have to plug-in to the 110V to run some heaters during the night. However, within 10 minutes after getting to our campsite, Jonathan showed up with one of his own adapters that he loaned me until I could get one the next day. Now that is service with a smile! The camp sites were very well-maintained and we had a wonderful stay. Will be back again.

Entrance gate not manned upon arrival at 2pm Tuesday so had to go back around after unhitched
Our site 14 was not marked. Most sites have site number on site picnic table. Tough to see in the daylight and impossible to see in darkness.
No roadside site number post!
TRIP HAZARD as Site 14 fire ring was up against landscaping timber preventing space for chairs. Fire ring should be relocated to side or back of site to facilitate safe movement around it.
Fire ring was completely filled with ash upon arrival
Shower/toilet facility near playground had padlock on men’s entrance, so males were using the women's restroom. This facility was in extremely poor condition.
Never saw any park rangers or park security driving through campground

We camped here and toured the other parks on the lake, this is by far, hands down the best park, the facilities were clean, the sites were upgraded and very well maintained, the staff was friendly and knowledgable and the TREES were awesome. This is the first COE park I've seen with TREES. We will be back again

We always have a wonderful time at this Park. New hosts and gate attendants are terrific. The weekends were filled with lots of groups camping in tents...something we had not seen before, but apparently lots of folks are camping these days so, it was a little more "populated" but still very enjoyable.

The park was very clean. The restrooms and showers were clean as well. The gate attendant was without a doubt, the friendliest host weve ran across....cant wait to return...

Our second trip to this park. Very pleasant! There are only 6 sites that have "full hook-ups" and one of those is NOT AVAILABLE to be reserved. Sadly, we were only able to stay here for 4 days, had to move to another site for a couple of days and then another site to complete our "journey". It was frustrating to see that this site with sewer hookups sat "unclaimed" by the party that reserved it AND another party was able to actually occupy the spot that "is NOT AVAILABLE". I think it is unfortunate that they "set aside" a full hook-up place when there are so few.
