The lake is beautiful, wished we would have brought our fishing poles. The bathrooms are not very clean. Unless you are going to fish there isn't much to do. No hiking trails. There are definitely issues with Argentina Ants. We had to spray numerous times. The sites are nice and big and well maintained.

Good site and campground, with only 14 full hookup sites and 3 of them non-reservable (so only 11 really)...I wish they would add some more. Also seems like the place to go to smoke pot, smell it in the air nightly (sad).

Money needs to be spent on upgrades and repairs to this park was well as many other Core parks. RV parking pads are eroded and getting continually worse. Covered table areas need to be repaired or upgraded all together. Restroom areas need to be upgraded.

This is a good park and the staff is great . As with all corp parks there has been no up grades and very little maintenance. For the price it is great. The corp needs to up the rates and do some upgrades

Campsite was pretty and quiet. However, the grass and weeds were terribly tall. I'm afraid that means more mosquitoes or maybe snakes.I do love this park accept for that.

Paved roads, paved spacious sites, covered picnic tables, fire pits, lantern poles, water view, some full hookup sites! The staff and volunteers do a great job. We love this campground.
Full hookups including sewage, paved roads, paved sites, covered picnic tables, spacious sites, friendly helpful gate attendants, marina store, many over the air TV channels, huge green open areas! One of our very favorite RV parks.
We very much enjoy this park. Site 72 is a go to, when available, though some attention is needed. Asphalt drop off is certain hazard and needs gravel fill, or full on repair. We noted the same in a number of other sites in this loop. Very quiet at night and good walking in the AM. Marina needs some sprucing up, as signs are weathered and very much showing their age, while rentals don’t look much better. Did not use the shower or bathroom facilities, as last visit they really needed updating and from the outside, nothing had been done. All said and done though we’ll be back....the park is very enjoyable with Great Lake views and plenty of space.

The staff were super nice, friendly and helpful. The campground was well kept, interesting and scenic. Nice campsites and amenities. The only thing that made our stay less than ideal was a major infestation of Midges. They were laying eggs in the public bathroom toilets and would swarm and enter our trailer at night. As well as prodigious ants everywhere that climbed inside our trailer. They didnt eat our food just crawled everywhere. Next time we would bring a bug zapper and ant poison.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
