The whole park needs mowing really bad. Ive camp there for years but that was the first time it looked run down. I thought it was a state park. Really sad theyre going to shut the marina down

Been going to liberty hills for over 15 years. The only complaint I have is the game warden should come around more to stop the removing of under limit size crappie from the marina and the whole lake.

We have stayed here in the past and were in a water/electric site. The site was level back in. We visited in January and almost had the park to ourselves. The some of restrooms were very dated. Especially in our loop. There are some full hook up sites available. The only propane store is either across Oak Park or the Ace Hardware in Hubbard. One thing to consider is Ace charges by the bottle instead of by the amount of propane that was filled.

Site 97. Nice view, friendly employees, low rates. But very poorly designed sites from the getgo. NO SHADE!. Narrow pad, surrounded with curb so no space outside RV and also trip hazard, especially for mobility limited.. Ant hills. Grass badly needed mowing. We love COE campgrounds and rate all the others we have camped at B+ or better. This one is D- or worse. Will not return.
