The campground was really spread out between different campsite sections. The sites were nice and big with a covered picnic table and fire pit. Not our ideal campground because we like there to be undergrowth and more trees to block out the surrounding campers but the site was big enough that had it been busy I dont think it would have been a horrible situation. I had originally booked us at site 60 but it had such a pitch that my husband was afraid the camper was going to slide right into the lake. The old rotted railroad tie that was there wasnt fastened down and would have been easily pushed aside We ended up moving to site 57 and spent our 4 nights there. The office guy really had no clue what he was doing at the computer and basically told us there were only 3 campsites available after standing at his window over 30 minutes. This campground is HUGE and was essentially empty the whole time we were there. Other than that one hiccup all went well. Not our ideal place to stay had it been busy but just perfect when we went in February.

Love Navarro Mills.....always one of the first places we choose to go camping. However this last time we had some very poor neighbors with 3 tents and vehicles up and down the street and loud drunken music till 1 or so in the am. This is the first time this has happened. Wish tent campers had an area of their own. They started drinking in the am so by night time..........

The grass was knee high full of grass burrs so could not walk to the lake without getting grass burrs all over mosquitoes were terrible due to high grass spent three days sitting inside should have just stayed home will not go back to this camp ground I talked to a gentleman camping next to us he said he camps there often and always brings a weed eater and lawn mower to cut grass around his camp site problem I dont go camping to do yard work

Nice concrete site with covered picnic table and fire ring. Enjoyed sitting by the lake and watching the birds at site 60. Would definitely stay there again.
