Stayed just one night while passing through but will definitely be back. The camp host was so accommodating, helped us change spots and came later to see if we had gotten settled in. The campground is very spacious, quiet, we'll kept and the spots are spread out. The lake is beautiful and it has a great swimming area too. You won't be disappointed!

We were in site 21 for 4 nights then site 48 for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. Both eyebrow pull thrus. 21 was plenty long, on a slope but manegable. 48 was much shorter and took more to get level. Both were 50 amp with water. Site 48 had utilities on same side as covered picnic table so we pulled in so our door opened to the picnic table with a nice view of the lake. Most sites in the park are on an incline. Most are nicely spaced with plenty of room. The bathrooms need to be upgraded. The one near our site 48 had no lights and no toilet paper most of Sunday and all of Monday. Only 2 toilets, one for men and one for women even though it served the group area and there was a group that weekend. Plus people using the fishing dock used it. The two small trash containers were quickly filled to overflowing and were still unemptied when we left Tuesday noon. The restroom closest to out site 21, had four restrooms with showers. Two did not lock and one had a light that did not work. The campground is spread out and nearly all sites had a view of the lake. Very quiet and dark at nights making star watching very nice. There are a few full hookup sites but some seem to be taken by homesteaders. All the full hookup sites are back in. Corsicana is about 20 miles away and has plenty of stores is supplies are needed. Overall it is a very pleasant place to stay.

We always have enjoyed camping at Liberty Hill . The campground is split into two sections as you enter the park. We enjoy camping on the right side after entering. This area has multiple bath houses in case you don't want to fill your camper's holding tanks. The swimming area is also in this section of the campground. It is sandy, traffic controlled from watercraft, and safe for swimmers and non swimmers. Most of the campsites are spread apart so that you are not right beside someone else. There are several boat ramps , with floating docks.
I only have a couple of dislikes. One; the newer bath houses are very hot, with almost no air circulation. There are still a couple of older bath houses that are better vented. Second ; there only a handful of sites with sewer hookups.
We will definitely camp there again.
