Camp sites were well kept and clean, no problems with electrical, water or waste. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet, secure and easy to get to campgrounds.

Conveniently located for where we were visiting. There were no issues and the lake was beautiful.Would advise to not choose a site near the highway. We were in a pull thru #31 and there was considerable amount of road noise. The park itself was very nice, would visit again.

Maybe it is the time of year but all the grass areas are loaded with stickers. It was a real issue with our labradoodle.

Very nice space, lovely there by the lake. We were in spot 31, full hookup, and only downside to the spot was it was closer to the highway. Early morning traffic was a bit loud, evening was no issue. Super nice hostess and great site. Would love to visit Waco again and stay here!

The gate host at Midway are the best I have ever encountered. This is one of the reasons we camp here all the time. Midway is convenient to our work and home also a reason we camp here a lot.

Came to look over the area. Our son and his family are moving to Waco in July. The campground was perfect. Reasonably priced and easy to get to. Clean area, clean restrooms. Our site had water, electricity and sewer, not sure they all do. Again, a great place to spend a few days. The only down side is our A/C quit, but that didn't have anything to do with the campground.

So close to the main highway yet feels like you are in the great outdoors! So easy to find. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Full hookups. No complaints at all. We were needing a rest up stop and this was perfect.

Nice park. good location. FHU area a bit noisy do to the Hwy traffic. The non-FHU area is very pretty with HUGE sites and very nice patio areas.

Midway is a great place to stay, you just need to make reservations early for a site with sewer and 50 amp.

Very disappointed we were unable to fish near the camping site. We were told we would have to walk down a trail, or drives several more miles to fish. Chose this location because of the picture of the lake near the camping site.

Close to shopping and food. Good AT&T reception. Good OTA TV reception. Gates lock at 10 pm which is great and they have a parking lot for you if you get back after 10. Park is exceptionally clean!

Camp host was very informative and a pleasure at check in. Park itself was terrible. Tree branchs were in need of cutting. Hit the top of camper on departure. Very loud due to highway noise. The bathrooms never worked during the time there. Park itself looked very nice!

Great place for a 2-3 day stop, but the branch’s were too low getting out of site 31 and they hit the top of camper. These should be trimmed! Lady at gate was very nice and informative!

I wasn't sure if it would be a good site or not because it was close to the highway but the noise of the traffic didn't bother me. The sewer hook-up was excellent to have. I will stay again at that park and try and get a site with sewer hook-ups. We had a great time.

Gate closing at 10pm was annoying. Attendant said we could park at building and walk to site. Not comfortable with that. Had space 31. It was new and very nice. I would plant more trees or put up barrier to keep road noise down. Otherwise very nice and clean. Would stay again.

It is a nice park. I do wish they had more 50amp sites. The only 50amps are up close to the road. The park is nice and clean. It was a little noisy being close to the road.
