We only stayed one night with a 40 ft motorhome which the park easily accommodated, but really enjoyed it. Park was clean and quiet, will definitely return for more stays.

It was quiet yet close to everything in Waco.

Our first COE stay, and all was well. Easy access. Never used the dump station, but it looked easily accessible. Bring a boat - the lake looked very inviting, but we had no way to enjoy it other than gazing at it.

We had a nice stay at the park. Nicely kept. Large site 12, but picnic table shelter was missing over both tables. Not a problem for us but can see it being very hot in the summer.

It had not rained in a couple of weeks. It was ridiculous that they had not mowed the grass. It was a mess

Midway is a great place to stay in Waco. It's located on beautiful Lake Waco. The sites are spacious, and most are shaded. It is conveniently located near restaurants, stores, and attractions. We will definitely stay there anytime we are in the Waco area.

The site that we had was missing the roof for the picnic table pavilion. Entry and exit was easy from the highway. We would stay here again if in the area.

We got a double site it did not have a top on the canopy over the tables, the grass had not been mowed and was so tall and thick, the electric out was bad and we almost lost our dog and cockatoo. Power went off while we were out fishing because it was bad. No water pressure. O grate on the bar n que grill. Very disappointed

We stayed 3 nights. Quiet and peaceful place to visit. The staff were nice and helpful. We loved watching the deer and fawns each day near our site.

Our site was clean when we arrived. Water view was nice even though the water levels were low.Only negative was our site had no cover over the picnic tables- it was missing. Easily remedied with our canopy however. The area is quiet and our stay was great.

Second time staying here. Really enjoy the area and easy access to the charms of Waco. I did discover that there is a sort of a trail behind site 16 that leads to Woodway Recreation Park. The path seems to be the remains of an old asphalt road that seems to have ringed the lake. There are visible remnants along the waters edge in Midway Park as well.Woodway park contains several trails through the woods. Its a nice resource.

Perfect for us. Clean, nice view, centrally located for Waco and major highways.

The staff were very friendly. The sites were well spaced and hook up worked well. There are some nice parks and walking paths in the area. The boat launch seemed popular. The views were great. The sites by the highway may get some noise from the traffic. Where we were you couldnt hear the traffic much. Make sure you time your sight seeing accordingly because the gates close and no way back into the park. Sites seemed to get groomed and cleaned up after each camper.

Nice little park with many shaded spots, but they don't mow. Had to walk thru 3 foot tall weeds to plug in electric and hook up water. Fire pit at our site was in really bad condition as was the wooden structure over the picnic table. I've never been to a place that charged $28-42 per site and didn't do simple maintenance like mowing. Why not? Boat ramp, dock and parking were nice. Some of the sites seemed level but many (most?) were not.

A nice park on Waco Lake. Conveniently located to Magnolia Table & other restaurants, Magnolia Market, Silo Bakery, museums and other attractions. We stayed for 2 nights in April 2021 in a 40' 5th Wheel. There are several sites (1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 14,, 15, 23 and 25) that can accommodate large rigs. Sites are fairly easy to get into. They all have paved pads, gravel picnic areas with table, grill and fire pit. Some sites have covers over the picnic tables. Sites are 30 amp electric and water. A dump station is conveniently located on your way out of the park. We recommend a water pressure regulator but not required by the park. Bonus for us was the ability to purchase the America The Beautiful Life time Pass for seniors at this park.

Beautiful spot! No room for us in 50 Amp area but 30 Amp ok for one night. It wasn't hot. Had the extra wide lot so lots of room for parking and dog walking.

We stayed at Midway for three days. We had a gorgeous site, which backed up to the lake. This park gives you ample room between RVs. I would highly recommend staying here.
