The park was very clean and host was very resourceful. The location was excellent for my visit.

Convenient to Waco proper. Lots of trees and shade, and LOTS of road noise.If you are a boater, theres a huge lake and nice launch ramp. Otherwise not much to do in the park itself. We were there for the eclipse. The park had glasses on hand, which was nice.

Great location to do the Waco experience. This is an older park with some short and unlevel sites. Bring leveling blocks. The full hookup sites in the front are level pull through but the one in the loop are rather steep if you have a longer RV. The attendants are friendly and helpful. It seems as though they are in the midst of upgrading some of the table covers. Most sites have a lot of shade. Bath houses could use an update.

We have stayed at Midway before and liked it. Sites were clean. Check in was easy and friendly. Wish there was a bridge to park just across inlet as Midway did not have any hiking trail. Because water was so low, areas along camper shoreline were ankle deep in muck. Area by boat ramp were pretty good. Would be nice if there were some kayak or paddle boards available to rent.

A nice base to see everything Magnolia. We too several long walks in the park. The price is good for the amenities, especially at half price with the Federal Senior pass.

We have visited this park four times in the last five months and each time we arrived we found the campsite raked and all leaves blown from the parking pad. The staff has always been great! Weve stayed at their full hookup 50 amp, full hookup 30 amp, and water and electric only 30 amp sites and have never had any issues. We live in Waco so go there to get away, not to get out and do - but if you have that in mind, you are just minutes from malls and restaurants, and can be downtown in 15 minutes if youd like to visit The Magnolia area. Great place to camp!
