We stayed at Midway to be close to the Silos in Waco. The individual sites, for the most part, are easy to level out and paved. Full hookups worked well. The Restrooms/ Showers facilities were very unclean and definitely need work. All in, wed stay again, but plan on not using the restrooms, as its well within the range of an Uber to Waco .

We are local Waco area residents and really enjoy Midway Park for a weekend getaway. We really like the mostly shaded sites and quiet camping!

Another great stay for us at Midway. This is an unusual Texas COE park, in our experience. It's located in a fairly large city, but the park still has lots of natural landscape to enjoy, as well as the lake location. We like the choice of spending a day at the park, or taking advantage of everything Woodway and Waco have to offer.
We stayed at Midway in a 31 foot 5th wheel rv.
If you haven't been, check out the National Mammoth Monument, The Mayborn Museum, and the Woodway/Carleen Bright Arboretum.

Awesome campground with easy access to everything you need. There is a fun trail system just west of the grounds that is easy to walk to and that we had fun exploring. Only downside was how many leaves there were in our site. They clean up the sites from leaves everyday but not if youre in the site. We spent 12 nights here and by the time we left you couldn't see the driveway nor the picnic area.

This is a really pleasant campground. The host are very friendly and helpful. We were away from our camper when a surprise storm came up. A host/neighbor grabbed a rope and tied our awning down so it wouldnt be damaged in the winds.

The rv sites are big lots with plenty of room to spread out. I didnt feel crowded in the least. All utilities hooked right up without issue. Had a wonderful time. Ready to go back. We have a 26 ft rv with one slide out. There were some nice size rigs there tho and still accommodated them well.

Nicely maintained park. Lots of shade to escape the sun, quiet neighbors. We enjoyed our stay.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
