This is a beautiful park. The lake is very nice with a public boat ramp. Pecan trees are a great shade in the summer. Only 50 amp sites are on top of the hill. Wish there were more 50 amp full hook ups as it stays full. Only down side is the trees seem to always need trimming and they scape the top of the rvs coming and going out of the sites. Its a very clean park and lock the gate at 10 pm so no in and out traffic.

Great site, very clean and friendly staff. No problems with our 32' class c motorhome.

This park used to be great but in the last year it has gone down hill. The sites are not kept clean and mowed. They are overrun with weeds and ants but the sites are large and have a sheltered picnic table. The women at check in are friendly and helpful and location is close to everything in Waco.

Clean, level, pull thru. Close to road so noise but able to sleep. Some distance to bath house. Nice view of lake.

Campground was very nice. Bathrooms could be better maintained. Road noise for those staying in the big motorhome/50 amp area is pretty significant, but that is nothing they can control...just be aware that it is not peacefully nestled out in the woods. Very friendly staff!

Best camping spot ever. Of course we had clouds during the eclipse and lots of wind, but I would still pick this camp ground in the Waco area.

Very nice level pull through site with full hook ups. Very clean sites and restrooms. Cant speak to the showers as we did not use them but they looked very clean. The other reviews were correct, this site is right on the road and noisy. There were other sites deeper in the park which were much quieter. Staff were awesome and so friendly and knowledgeable. Very close to Waco and everything it has to offer. We enjoyed biking the river walk bike paths. The sunsets across the lake were breathtaking! Would definitely stay again!

Clean and nice pull through spot. Sewer was difficult to access. There was a lot or roadway noise at the pull through area.

Our reservation process and 2 night stay at Midway was very pleasant and peaceful. We will stay at Midway again.

This is a great park, however we are not pleased with the height of the grass. It was tall when we arrived on 30 April and it has not been mowed as of 8 May. The grass is now taller than our dogs and impossible to see snakes. Asked the host on 02 May about the mowing and she said it was mowed about a week and half before that date. Other than that it is a very nice park and we will still recommend. There are many things to do and see in the Midway Park area and close to this location.

Clean. Nice distance between sites. Covered picnic area at each site with grill and pit.

Stay was great as usual but the park is getting rundown and needs to be cleaned up and demolished buildings cleaned up.

Overall very nice park. The lake views are great. Only downside was the bathrooms/showers, cleaned only every other day. Not sure they were cleaned that often.

Stayed early February 2021. Beautiful grounds and scenery. Unfortunately no water, but this was the beginning and the frigid winter in Texas. Would love to return when the weather is warm just to view the area.

The park is clean, and well manicured. Nice views of the lake. It's quiet too except for if you have the sites next to the highway. We would definitley return again.
