The park has so much potential to be great; however, its extremely run down and over grown. The trees need to be trimmed for large RVs to navigate through the park without scratching, the grass is so tall and over grown around almost all of the spaces. We enjoyed how quiet it was and easily accessible, but the gate closing at 10pm makes things difficult for those staying in town for HEART O TEXAS.

I love this location. Lots of trees. Great view of Lake Waco, Friendly staff who stay attentive to what is happening in the park.

This little campground at Lake Waco was quiet, with very little highway noise in slot 13, though it sits close to a major highway. The sites were not sitting on top of each other. Some had covered tables some did not, but it wasnt something for us to worry about. The restroom/showers were clean and well stocked! There was sewer at a few sites but most did not have any. Dump station and dumpsters were well placed and taken care of. Overall a great experience and we would go back again.

Wish there had been more to do in the nearby area. I drove downtown to Magnolia Market and the Mammoth monument. The botanical gardens were closed.The site was level, shaded and relatively close to the bath house.

Great location! Nice greeter at kiosk, site was great amongst beauyiful trees, be back by 10pm if you go off site! Will be back.😊

Nice relaxing stay. The camp sites are big and restrooms and showers are clean. Also there are allot of trails to walk.

I loved this campsite! This is the only site where I couldnt leave it better than when I found it. Everything about midway was really well done. This group takes care of their site and it shows. My campsite was very very clean and they even raked the gravel around the table/camp area. I took my 5 year old on a birthday camping trip and hell definitely be back to midway.

Showers have been broken foe several years the men's side might have 1 that works half way the women side has been non usable for years other parks on lake waco have nice usable shower facilities why can't midaway be fixed

I love this camping location - beautiful trees, beautiful view of Lake Waco, and great campus sites - nicely paved, well maintained hookups, and always cleaned sites after campers leave.

Stayed at Midway following a day at the Magnolia Silos and Dr Pepper museum. Beautiful lake location with exceptionally clean restroom and showers. We never stayed at a COE campground before but it wont be our last. Very nice.

I really enjoyed camping at Midway Park. There are lots of trees for shade and the sites are long, level and not spaced too close together. Will definitely be back.

We were having truck problems after we got there to midway and had to stay over the 14 day limit. Between Jan at the gate and Jarod at the corps we couldnt have been in better hands. These two went above and beyond to be both humanitarians and stewards of their positions. If not for them we would have had to find a way to move our camper when out truck was in the shop. Both of them are owed all of our gratitude that we can offer and they are an awesome asset to your program.

Great place to camp . Big lots and clean ! We had a lake view and sunsets were beautiful! Even had double lots which would be great if you come with another family!

Gorgeous site with ample space for the RV. Super clean and fantastic views. All was great ........ except for the Juniper trees were shedding their berries everywhere and you couldn't help but track them into the RV. Had I known I would have picked up some disposable mats for the steps into the RV. It was beautiful though.

This is a wonderful wooded camping area with great access to Lake Waco and quick access to locations in the City of Waco. Love camping here!

Great campgrounds at Waco lake. Grounds were well keep including restrooms beautifully trimmed trees for big rigs and right on the lake. Some sites even had sewer hookups. Helpful staff.

We enjoyed Midway!
We wanted something with trees and felt like you were outdoors in the middle of the city and Midway was it!
The traffic was a little bit loud at night but the lake was beautiful and everyone was friendly!
