Nice park except for the Friday night party that occurred across from us. Loud music and 20 cars.

We recently camped in spot #30 at Airport Park, Lake Waco. Airport Park is only minutes from our house ; making for a short commute. We love camping there also for the terrific views of the water, and the abundant deer visitors. The section that we enjoy most is sites16-36 ; just past the boat ramp. There are only three sites in this section with sewer hookup capabilities; unfortunately . But, site 30 is one of them, so we didn't have to go to the dump station on our way home. There are two decent areas in this section for swimming or tying up your watercraft. We are looking forward to our next booking at Waco's Airport Park Campground.

Airport Park is beautiful, and the grounds are well kept. The gals at the gate are super friendly. We enjoyed our stay and even extended it as long as we could. Enjoying the sunsets over the lake are a must. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Waco has several things for families to enjoy. The Waco Mammoth National Monument, Magnolia Market, and the beautiful Cameron Park and Zoo. We were here as travel bloggers and will be writing a blog about Waco. You will be able to check it out at www.loveandourlaptoplives.com

The park was nice and clean for what was open due to flooding. I was told the grass was only cut every 3 weeks and didn't know when it would be done next, so going with another camper, we couldn't easily walk between the sites without getting poked by the stickers on the grass. The bathrooms near by were completely gross and not in well enough condition to use if needed. Good thing we had one of the few the full hook up sites to be able to shower there.

This was our first time to this park. It was beautiful. The ladies that were at the park gate were very nice. Definitely will be back.
