I have to say coe parks do not over watch everyone. State parks are always coming around in the am leaving site reminders on our vehicles like we don't know we need to go to the office. No harassment. Clean sites. If u need help go up to ranger entrance booth. Very helpful. Love these parks. Will definitely be back.

Site #9 - first time at this site but not to the park. Perfect sunset viewing, and the large tree would give good shade during the summer. Pull through with FHU right on the water - can't get much than that!! Everything was clean and tidy though as usual we did manage to leave it better than we found it by picking up some errant cigarette butts and water bottle caps. This site will go on our favorites list for sure!

Love that is close to all the hiking trails there at Lovers Leap! Great Location with lots to do or just stay there and enjoy the park itself!

The gate attendant is always very polite and helpful. The campsite was as clean as you could expect minus a gazillion acorns. Nice sunset view.

had a great stay at a reasonable price. Lovely view of the lake. Utilities worked well. The only real suggestion I have is to get some signage on the main road. There is another road that goes to Airport Beach Park and that seemed to be the road for me to take. I wasted a lot of time trying to find the right way into Airport Park.

By far one of the best ( in our opinion) COE parks we have been too.

Always clean sites. Sites are large and spaced out.

Nice park-large sites with full hookups. Easy to get to Waco for anything you need

Lots to do in the area. We visited local parks for walking and hiking trails.
Any shopping needs are in fairly close proximity.
Corp staff were all very friendly.

We’ve stayed at this park a couple of years ago. It was wonderful then and wonderful now. So peaceful and the birds and deer are so fun to watch. It’s nice waking up and seeing the fog on the water. Very well maintained and staff is very nice and friendly.

Beautiful park, buzzed by small noisy aircraft from 8 am to 6pm......ALL DAY, EVERY DAY UNLESS IT IS RAINING.

#9 excellent space with trees and sewer, could use a lantern post for bug zapper. Loved the way spot was raked and prepped when we arrived. All other spots were done as well between guests.

Our spot was great. Beautiful view and the spots are far apart. Some have trees and others don't but they all have a great view of the lake. Very clean around the park. The only downfall was the amount of wasps

This is a great, quiet park with adequate space between sites. I just wish all water front sites had water access. Some have giant rocks for erosion control that prevent walking down to the water's edge to fish. Bathrooms are very clean as well.

Pros:
• Very friendly gate attendant
• Extremely quiet park except for arriving/departing aircraft at Waco Regional Airport
• Great view of the lake as trees/shrubs are minimal
• Clean campsite
• Very clean campfire pit
• Most sites had a nice distance from neighbor sites
• Crushed granite surrounds the site’s asphalt parking pad so no muddy mess after rain
• Pedestal BBQ grill, fire pit with grilling grate and aluminum picnic table at each site
• Some sites had aluminum roof pavilion over picnic table
• Some sites had lantern pole
• Park roadways in good condition
• Plenty of TP in women’s restroom
• 4 bar signal AT&T

Cons:
• Filthy women’s restroom. Human feces on floor. Two of the three stalls locked for days. One remaining stall the door would not close and latch. Sign posted on door that restrooms were cleaned Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, but the human feces were on the floor Friday night, Saturday all day and Sunday morning. Exterior door would not close completely.
• No water to sinks in women’s restroom.
• No soap dispenser and no hand dryer in women’s restroom.
• Men’s restroom door locked Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning.
• Exterior door to one shower room was unable to be closed
• Extremely low water pressure to campsite
• No site privacy due to minimal trees/brush throughout the park.
• Low hanging tree branches over roadway and campsite pad
• Our campsite pedestal BBQ grill was extremely corroded
• No wildlife sightings
• NOT A DARK SKY FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND! Boat launch lights across the cove lit up most of the campground. Large lights on the toilet/shower building that made it nearly as bright as daylight!
