Very nice park, the air traffic was delightful. Attendant at the entrance was the best! The bathrooms were mostly functional, but in dire need of work - please! They were pretty bad.

This is one of my favorite parks. Sites are spacious and clean. Most are pretty level.
The only thing that I don’t like is that they are so many grass burrs so I have to constantly remove them from my furbabies paws, but that seem to be at almost all COE parks.
I still love this park though.

My lifetime second favorite camping site - ever - is in Airport Park! Thats fifty nine years of camping. Wonderful privacy, lovely trees and space to the lake, perfect, level sites for my RV. Thank you!

Beautiful and clean. Nice people. We visited the Mammoth Dig Site (6 dollars and right down the road) for an hour of cool entertainment. The Texas Rangers Museum was great too! Great park.

The sites are spaced apart with lots of room. Thats a plus. However, when we drove in, after a long day of travel, another camper was in our site. We were told nothing could be done until the next morning after 10:00. We had to take a site without FHU. The showers were unusable in serious need of repairs. Also, there were large dogs allowed to be off leash in the campground. We quickly learned that we couldnt even walk our dog. A very disappointing experience.

We stayed in Site 56. Lots of space between sites. Gorgeous sunsets right over the lake. Beautiful view of the lake from our door. This site was the direct line up for the small plane airport. So they were going over our site throughout the day. My hubby is a private pilot so he would sit outside for hours watching the planes. The site was Electric & water only. Have a 30 ft travel trailer and site was long enough to have truck disconnected and still room.. First day went to the shower house and no hot water so called the office. They were down to fix them within a half hour.

Great park and great location on the lake. The staff is doing a superb job; even raking the pads during clean-up, a great welcome for guests. Enjoyed hiking and riding our bikes. We stayed in site 56. Although we did not use them, the showers appeared to need updating.
Thanks.

I have to say, this park was such a nice surprise. The park itself is incredibly well maintained and the staff so very nice. Each site I saw, including my own, were exceptionally well manicured down to actually raking the gravel before the new guest arrive. The view from each site I saw was a beautiful view of the lake. You can tell there is a sense of pride from those who are charged with the parks care and especially the enjoyment of its guests. Without question, my wife and I look forward to the next opportunity to visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to our RVing friends.

Beautiful campground. We had the prettiest site in the whole park, and no, I wont mention what number it was! Everything about it was just great for what we were doing. We were only there for a couple of nights and didnt have full hook-ups, but that wasnt a problem for us. 50A electrical worked perfectly, and the two-lane dump station was great. Cant wait to plan another trip there. Being right under the approach for all the low-flying airplanes coming in to land at the airport across the street was actually kind of fun, but Im an aviation buff. If total peace and quiet is your thing, youre going to be very frustrated a few times a day.
