We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Airport Park on Lake Waco. We plan to come back. The sites were spaced out nicely, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet (the nearby airport was no problem). It is a short drive into the city for anything you might need there. The staff was very friendly... we'll be back.

A wonderful campground on Lake Waco, always a great getaway for us with our RV even as we live nearby.

Very nice park. Spacious sites. Attendants very helpful and courteous. Quiet and clean. If it rains, site 10 will have a big puddle in the front of your camper. Great place to eat not too far away is Uncle Worms. Excellent food. Easy on and off 35.

Beautiful sites right on the lake. Very level with nice tables, etc. Quiet. We only heard about 2 planes use the airport. Would stay there again.

This park was wonderful - extremely clean and the spots are very spaced out. So beautiful and peaceful to look out on the lake. The noise from the planes did not bother us (we were in the first loop, I think it would be louder on the east side) - most were just small prop planes.

The park was lovely once we got there, but just a heads up, make sure you pull into the correct park. Apple Maps brought us to Airport Beach Park up the road. Just make sure to check the signs.

Enjoyed a wonderful week in Waco, TX at Airport COE. Stayed in site 10. Pull-thru w/fhu. Great site overlooking the lake. (The lake is still very low.) We were surprised at the lack of general cleaning of sites. And was thankful it wasn't necessary to use the facilities. We did leave our site better than we found it! We will come back.

Great park built by COE, very convenient to Waco. Park host was useless and invisible. No help checking in or direction to reserved site. Our 1st visit here and no idea of best way in. Thunderstorm was imminent so guessing they were afraid to get wet. Did not use restrooms so can't report condition.

Airport Park is our new favorite place! Our waterfront site was huge and had easy access to the lake. The park was full, but didn't seem crowded because we had so much space! Everything that we needed was close by to include showers, bathrooms, and dumpsters. We will definitely be back!

We love the park and camp there a minimum of 2 trips per year. The reason for the three star review is due to the restrooms. I think the restrooms are so outdated, some showers not working and not being cleaned on a regular basis. We were in the loop w sites #9 - #15. We were there 3 days and the restrooms weren't cleaned during our visit. Don't get me wrong, they weren't bad, it is just my opinion they should be cleaned daily. Shower heads really need to be replaced. 2 of the 4 individual showers were locked and the 3rd didn't have a working shower head. Regardless of this, we will always return. Our camp site had been prepared very well. The views are incredible and they offer full hook up in multiple sites. This review is not intended to keep anyone from camping (as we will always come back) but is intended to bring to the attention to the COE the need for improvements to the restrooms.

Beautiful, well kept and clean park. Woman at the entry gate was helpful and very pleasant. Showers were clean, but need maintenance. Will be back.

I've stayed at Airport Park on two separate occasions. I have been very pleased with my stay on both occasions. I thought the bathhouse was kept in a clean condition. Our site had all the hookups we needed and I was very pleased. I would stay there again.

Site was very clean, had wasp in shelter but cleaning crew gave us spray to use to eliminate. Gate attendant was very pleasant and helpful. Keep up the good work.
