Nice , quiet little park by the lake and airport. Few pesky gnats, but nothing real bad.

Bathrooms clean, plenty of hot water. Site has an uphill slope, had to raise the front higher than I like. Views of the lake are amazing. Quiet time not enforced consistently. Need keypad entry to get in after 10 pm. Would stay there again but a different site.

Nice location on the lake. Sites weren't large, but they are clustered in pods which are spaced far apart. Nice level site.

There used to be someone who would come around and clean the sites before check in. But ours was obviously not cleaned and we never saw anyone that came around that did that anymore. The bathrooms had cobwebs everywhere. It was a busy weekend and one of the women's bathrooms had run out of toilet paper. We have worked for COE as both a contractor and volunteer in Iowa for 10 years. I understand from talking to the people at the Fee booth, that the bathrooms are only attended to once a week, and the person who does it has all the bathrooms at all the campgrounds. That is a LOT! We have a contractor for each campground and we contracted for the bathrooms we had 2 comfort stations and 2 shower/bathrooms to take care of (plus clean the sites and clean out the firepits every week - we called it Ash Wednesday). We were expected to clean the bathrooms every morning around 6 am and check them again around 3 pm. We also did a full clean every Monday using hot water and a disinfectant (so the walls, toilets, showers and sinks were all sprayed down). We then wiped everything down and used a squeegee on the partitions and showers. Obviously, you are spreading the person who is cleaning the bathrooms way too thin. I hate all the burrs that are in the grass. I had to clean out my dogs paws every time she had to potty. And we had them all over our socks and shoes if we walked through the grass (which we quit doing). The grass/weeds were extremely tall (I understand you had had a lot of rain). The lawn was finally taken care of just before we left with big tractors and mowers so it looked much better. We would like to stay at the corner spot (Site 17), but we have a 13'6" RV and concerned that the trees are too low. They need to be trimmed. We appreciate that you have several Full Hook up sites and as long as we plan ahead, we can get one. We loved site 23.

Grass and burs were knee high and site was not clean, cig butts everywhere and fire ring full of trash, cans, etc. Really gone down hill in the last couple of years.

Park was very clean. Check in was a little slow. Did not see park host question sites about about no tags. Ladies bathroom were new but shower could not be use due to no knobs on either shower. Over all it was a nice stay.

Always a good stay, wind not withstanding. But, then again, it is Texas.

Airport park is a very nice park - planes flying over are fun to watch - we had site with full hookups so that was nice to have - we will go back for sure

The park is well kept and a good experience. Most sites are barely more then a short walk from the the water, if not butting right up to it!The only points off is due to still having brown out conditions under heavy load on high usage weekends like July 4th when it's busy and super hot.I definitely recommend having an EMS or the power watchdog here.

The park host and rangers responded very quickly when we arrived on Sunday and were having problems with our electric hook up. Our problem was fixed and they checked with my wife the next day to make sure everything was still working.

We absolutely loved our stay! I originally thought we were going to be on a waterfront site. But, it didnt matter cause there were beautiful water views from all of our windows! Plus, we had a fire pit, full sized grill, huge COVERED picnic table! Most of the campgrounds weve stayed at, where we paid a lot more money doesnt have half the amenities! The concrete pad was huge! The gravel around the patio was raked and beautiful. There were shade trees and the space between each site was HUGE! Plus, we loved chatting with the sweet ladies at the gate on our way in and out of the park. Oh, theres more the park is so big, we biked and walked around the lovely grounds every day. The sunsets, absolutely gorgeous! Weve told so many others about Airport Park, were afraid we might not be able to get in again. We were super close to visiting The Silos at Magnolia and we happened to discover Heritage Homestead. Well definitely be back! One of our favorites.

Hate the constant airplanes. Some go around & around the campground all day. If you have good hearing stay away unless you are an airplane enthusiast. Seems airspace is not governed much by FAA

This was a great site--even had sewer. The site was paved, level, and long. The view of the lake was great because the site on the outer loop was vacant. The Verizon service was great here. I would give five stars if there were trails or something to do for those without boats.
