We love Airport Park! The lake is so beautiful. Campsites are spread out nicely. Roads are great for riding bikes. Very quiet and peaceful, and so close to all the fun tourist things in Waco! We will definitely stay again!

It was lovely stay as usual; it was a pretty & quiet atmosphere. It was very windy the time that I stayed, I was lucky I had a nice tree to block wind and provide shade since there are no covers over the tables anymore. I like the fact that there are sewage hook ups also. I enjoyed my stay and will continue to use your camping facilities The folks that check you in at the gate are always so friendly and polite and helpful.

This park is a nice quiet park except for the occasional flight overhead. Its a great place to put a pole in the water and enjoy the flock of ducks on their daily swim through the cove.

This park is excellent. One thing that would make getting there easier would be for a sign on the road for both directions.

Very spacious, quiet campsites, big shade trees, gorgeous views of the lake, lots of wildlife and close to town for activities -we were here for the Waco Ironman. Friendly staff. The bathrooms are in need of remodel which they are currently working on. We plan to come back.

We really enjoyed our 2-week stay here. Our site was neat and clean when we arrived, including the freshly raked gravel patio area. We had beautiful views of the lake, sunrises, sunsets, and plenty of deer. Our site was directly in line with the runway of the regional airport across the road, and the jets were loud and frequent during daylight hours on weekdays. The weekends were much quieter. An ice/sleet storm moved through toward the end of our stay and we decided to stay one more night before moving on. The attendant at the gatehouse was very helpful and fun to talk to as we booked the extra night. It's a secure park, with rangers and volunteers patrolling several times per day.

Still have trouble with getting refund. Reservation was from 5-31-2021 thru 6-3-2021. Camp closed on 6-1-2021, having us check out that day. Used 1 night of 3 night reservation. Refund was issued for one night only. At some point, reservation was changed to two nights, either by software or clerical error. My credit was charged $48. for 3 nights(lifetime senior pass applied)3 night booked, 1 night used,2 night due refund. $16. Still owed. Please give this credit.

Very nice park. The camping spots are spread apart enough to enjoy the adventure. Great location. The airplanes were a little loud at times but the grandkids loved watching them. Not an issue for us.

While it's a bit of a drive from downtown Waco, Airport Park was nestled against the beautiful scenery of Lake Waco and the sight of small engine planes coming in for a landing overhead also made for a memorable experience. Sites were spacious and had full hookups available. Park hosts were welcoming and park was a great mixture of demographics (young/ old/ pets).
