The trees could be trimmed they rub on the roof and the sides

This park used to be beautiful. Now, the picnic table canopy's are missing the roofs, and the grass was very unkept.

Beautiful park. The hosts were friendly, and the sites were kept very clean. The restrooms could use updating.

The Lake Waco Corps of Engineers do an incredible job keeping up with this park. Its one of my favorite places to camp and always well kept.

Our site was great and the covered picnic table was nice, even though a lot of sites were missing the cover.. The lake is beautiful and made up for a lot. The bathhouse was clean but very old and in need of repair. No soap in a bathroom is pretty gross, especially with all the covid signs up around the park. The biggest issue was the locked gate at 10pm. We got back at 10:05 on our 20th anniversary and had to walk 1.5 miles back to our RV. We have never stayed at a Campground that didn't have a coded gate or coded padlock.

Really liked this park our site was clean. I was glad we had a site with the cover over our table as some site didnt have the roof on the structure. Im puzzled as to why? The bathrooms were not as clean as I expected. The dump area was a hot mess, feces on the ground by the sewer connection. I know its a crappy job but this should be checked on daily. With all that being said we will come camp here again

We had campsite #54. Our stay would have been 5☆ had it not been for the campers one down in front of us BLARING country music the WHOLE time. Even though it is suppose to be quiet after 10pm the loud music continued way up onto the morning hours. I came out there to relax and escape real life for a second, not to party and listen to someone else's taste of music. This has NEVER happened before. Overall one of the best places to camp.

We were very impressed with Jan and her team raking the area, and getting it looking nice for us. I know it might take another team doing it, but having cleaner tables would be nice.

Amazing campsite with trees and lake view. Only disappointment was I called and talked to someone and they told us our campsite had sewer hook up but when we arrived it did not. Other than that it was great location to Waco and e would stay again.

Airport Park is convenient to Downtown Waco and proved to be a pleasant camping experience. The lake is visible from most of the sites and the large table shelters provide convenience in rainy weather, especially for tent campers. We camped in a motorhome and the site was more than adequate length for our 32 RV and tow. The park is even more pleasant if one likes airplanes since the campground is in close proximity to the airport and in the direct flight path for takeoff and landings. The USAF must have a flight school of some sort since both jets and props were practicing touch and goes during the day. There is also private and commercial jet traffic for most of the day so the park is not quiet. Verizon reception was adequate to access the internet.
