Sites 21 & 22 were great pull-through level waterfront sites.Site 28 was just steps from the shower house & has sewer. (No top to the picnic table on this one). The Men's showers could use more water pressure.I recommend a bike ride or walk along the south side of the Brazos River in downtown Waco by the Suspension Bride heading towards Cameron Park enjoying all the great sculptures of the "Sculpture Zoo" along the way. SO nice!!

Clean campsite and restrooms. Our spot was perfect for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our first time to camp in years and had a great time. We will be back soon

Nice, Clean and quiet park. There is a humming noise at night and if you have pups there are stickers. I would recommend the park. Its close to Waco tourist area as well.

The park was nice and the campsites well spaced. I gave 3 stars because there is no way to get into the park after 9pm. I'm not a child and, on occasion, go to a show or just have a late night dinner out. You also can't get in before 9am, so a early morning trip to the gym or just a coffee run is out too. Sorry, but it's been 45 years since anyone has given me a curfew and I don't like it.

Site sloped a little much for our 43' motorhome, but it was nice enough. Poor bath house, no water pressure and no grab rails, towel hooks or benches, but water was warm, if not hot. Gatekeeper was friendly.

I was a little disappointed in the condition/maintenance of the facilities. Last time we were there everything was cleaned. This time, the bathhouse looked only minimally tended.

Enjoyed our stay, even though weather was pretty cold and windy! Park was clean and sites were nice. Hope to come back soon! We toured Magnolia Home and had lunch at Magnolia table. One thing I wanted to do was tour the Texas Ranger museum but had to save for next time. Waco is a city with lots of history and a nice city.

Will definitely come back to this park. Really nice sites on the water, pebble beaches and beautiful views. So much to do in the area and the hilly drive with green pastures to Waco just stunning!

I enjoyed my stay here and it was a gorgeous site. I would have given it five stars but the bathroom facilities could use some tender loving care. They were functional but showing at their age.
The gate staff was very pleasant and willing to share information about the locality and sites.
I went to a kayak launching area below the breastwork of the dam and a pit toilet there was rusted to the point of it would not support weight, very neglected.

Site 22 was the BEST!! Loved that sites are spacious and so many have water view. We had to move to site 29 and it was pretty good as well. Looking forward to coming back again.

Airport Park is our go to place when we need a break from the every day world. The park and all the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The first night there was a little cool, perfect for a small campfire, but there was a burn ban, so we didn't get to have a fire. That's okay though. We still had great scenery, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets, can't ask for more than that!

The ants invaded us the bathroom needs updated and put in better shape. Grass was tall and stickers are awful. We were very disappointed. One thing nice was cool reef table and sand at fire pit but couldn’t enjoy do to the ants that bit us if we stood a second bought four cans of ant spray to try to help ended up with some in under belly when we got to grand lake. Won’t be back
