The park is unkept and needs a lot of work.

Unfortunately, Airport Park is not what it used to be. There is no maintenance going on. Only one picnic table had a roof over it. All the others are missing completely or missing most of the roof.

There are planes that fly over but who cares. The view is excellent in almost any direction.

Nice, large paved site with a covered picnic table. Was able to walk my dog without worrying about traffic. We could hear the boat ramp across the way and the planes from the airport, but it wasn’t loud or at night, so not a big deal. Probably my only complaint is that the grass was full of stickers, so we couldn’t let the dog even close to it and we were constantly tracking them in on our shoes, had to sweep a lot. It was about a 20 minute drive to The Silos and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Waco experienced some very cold weather while we were there in late January. Although the park was spacious, our bathhouse door was falling off the hinges, most of the water faucets were uninsulated and were frozen when we arrived, and many of the roofs of the picnic table shelters were missing. I realize that the severity of the weather was not what central Texas is used to but the unpreparedness of the park made our stay disappointing.

Really nice campground with good spacing between sites and nice views of the lake. The ladies at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Propane is available at the ACE Hardware nearby. The only issue we had while there had nothing to do with the park. We were there the week of Christmas. The weather dropped to below freezing so we and others camping filled our fresh water tanks and put away the water hoses. The park did close the bathrooms and lock them up without notifying the campers in case they wanted to use the showers first. The park is close enough to go to the Magnolia Market and Waco attractions. We would definitely camp here again.

This park was beautiful and well maintained. We were on a peninsula surrounded by water! We were going to spend more time in Waco but loved our lakefront location so much we spent more time at the campsite. The staff was welcoming and so nice. Nice flat pad, and loved the detail to our covered patio. Great spot, hope we can make it back here again!

Was a bit disappointed at the fact that it was not told that air planes were directly in our flight path, made it a bit noisy throughout the day and into the night. Also, the disrepair of picnic areas for the sites was a bit of an eye sore. Overall it has a beautiful view. May try again, not sure.

The monarch butterflies were everywhere, our spot was huge & level. Attended Silobration! Excellent park, location.

Clean, well kept, full hookup and nice size mostly level spot. The gate attendant was precious and helped us out with the cards from some local Mobil mechanics. We were able to leave the camp in time and happy. Good experience and we will be back.

My wife and I absolutely love Airport Park. It is a nice place to get away. The gate attendants are always very nice!

Airport Park was great, but the weather put a damper on the fishing. So the camping trip was a bummer.

Great little campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space at the campsite and between campsites. Clean restrooms. Quiet, relaxing, and family friendly.

Close to town. Very pretty on the lake. We were worried about airport noise but it eas not an issue.
