The gate attendants were very friendly and helpful. The sites were clean and generally level. Our group of five sites enjoyed the weekend.

This park was excellent. Concrete site with full hookups. It was level and so clean. When we arrived they had raked the gravel. There is a ton of space in between the spaces and the roads are easily accessible.

Excellent location and park. Attendant that worked when we checked in on Sunday was the best.

Excellent park. We enjoyed our stay very much and didn't want to leave. We had the most beautiful sunset over Lake Waco. Wish the fire ring wasn't so far from our trailer tho but it was nice to have. We will be back.

This park is awesome!!!!
We stayed for three nights. The sites are huge and super clean. They have crushed granite around the fire ring, grill and picnic tables. Before we arrived they even rake a pattern into the granite. In the morning time we saw deer . Super clean super quiet and truly beautiful sunsets over the lake. 5 STARS!!!

We have stayed here in the past. This time we had a new 5th wheel. This time we found that because our water and power were in the back of the trailer and the sewer outlet was near the front we couldn't hook it up. It would need an additional length of sewer hose. I have since purchased additional sewer hose and an extra power cord so that this won't happen again. We really like this campground.

Loved this site as a great break from home. We may only live a short drive from this park however, we are never disappointed each time we visit . The gate attendees, volunteers, cleaning crews, and others such as the volunteers are awesome! Love seeing all the deer and how our little poodle believes they are her 'deer' friends! She makes sounds and they send them back while standing and watching her with her show her excitement. Beautiful sun rises out across the lake over the sky line of Waco and sun sets shining with intensity over the West. Proof daily of God's greatness and presence with us. We've met numerous couples, some from around Waco and others from out of state. Most recently one couple from way up North visiting as many Texas Parks as possible and not wanting to go home. Texas will do that to you!
