Airport Park is always a nice stay. Its clean and fairly well maintained. Showers are a little run down, but usable.

The campground was beautiful. Our only regret was that we couldn't spend more time there. We were on our way home after a 3 week trip and only spent one night.

Wish we had full hook ups!! Also we were worried about the damaged tree, live oak, that could fall on our trailer or somebody fatally injuring them!! The site was beautiful with sunsets and sunrises!! Peaceful and quiet!! Loved it!!

On 77 mite black water hose didn't drain properly because drain access is too high.Other than that, very pleased at both sites we stayed. Personnel at gate were outstanding.

Loved the park, the bathrooms were dirty. We were there 4 days and the showers were not cleaned. We knew because the same stuff was on the floors each day we went into them. The door on the handicap restroom/shower would not even lock or close all the way. For this reason we will not be back.

While the name of this park brings doesn't draw a person, it is a jewel and we highly recommend it. The campsites are roomy and situated around the lake, the environment is very peaceful, and the staff and other guests were very friendly. Give it a try!

Excellent camping spot with the exception of the tree limbs were too low to get my camper under them without scraping the top of my RV. I had to climb on top of the RV and cut a limb off so that it wouldn't damage my AC unit.

Had a great 2 nights, even though the weather was cool. It was great that the Corps left some firewood lengths of aromatic cedar lying on the ground, where they had cut down dead trees.
We had the greatest campfires, thanks to them.

Oh my gosh! What a great campground and STAFF. Talk about pride in their work. The ranger / greeter at the front gate was exceptional. The group the prepared each site before guest arrival was amazing. Cannot say enough about this campground! Except ....THANK YOU!!!

Pads were concrete and level. Our spot included 50 amp, water , and sewer.Area was maintained, lake was beautiful with alot of wildlife.As usual neighbors were all texas friendly. Staff was wonderful at the gate.Is next to an airport so about 2 or 3 times a day would hear planes taking off or landing.

Park is in need of repairs. Grass was uncut and tall. Some table awnings are missing tops.
