Overall it was excellent! Was a bit bummed about the trash that was on the site when I got there. But other than that it was clean and a great spot on the water!

Park was very nice. There was big lots and wildlife at every turn. Bathrooms had two stalls with no soap, a few spiders. The showers we warm but very dirty like they werent cleaned or wiped down from spiders. They only had two working out of the four in our building at the end of the campground. The planes from the airport kept flying over but didnt keep me up. Lastly most of the shelters didnt have roofs. My kids loved being able to go in the water and throwing rocks. Also the deer came right up to our tent in the early hours.

The pavilion over our picking table had no roof which was not stated anywhere before booking. Also, there was no running water in the bathroom or able to take a shower.

We came in early October, and it was the butterfly season. The butterflies were everywhere, and it makes the scene so beautiful and romantic. The air was fresh and cool. Water is very clean and clear, you can see turtle, fish, small clam and crawfish swimming. The staff is excellent, very friendly and sweet. She'll tell you her favorite local trail and restaurant if you ask. The restroom is very clean and well keep. Overall, it was a great experience. We definitely will come back.
