Site #24. Excellent site. Great view of the lake. Site was clean, well maintained, and far enough from the neighbors giving a little hearing privacy. Gate staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if travelling through the area.

Beautiful place, quiet except for the airport noise that doesnt bother. Great Lake sunset and sunrise. Close to Waco and deer everywhere. Staff was also great

Beautiful park! Restrooms clean and comfortable to use! Only concern - why are there so many empty sites with a Reserved tag on them and no one in them? When we were trying to reserve a spot months ago, there was very little selection!

We love this park. Close enough to town, but still out. Lake was full now(April2024).Would be great of CoE could get - point more funding$ for maintanence as most ALL parks seems to be taken less care of. Thanks JoeB.

Airport Park is a favorite! Weve camped there several times.we love seeing the deer.

Travis at the front gate was very helpful in finding us the perfect campsite. We will be back. Campground was clean, well maintained and thoroughly enjoyed by the local townsfolk. Nice lake with great views from many of the campsites. I enjoyed my morning walk every day we were there. We should have stayed a fourth night, but we had plans that took us further down the road. We'll be back!

Beautifully cared for. Also, the camping spots are far enough from each other that even when the park was full, there was no crowding.

I stayed in space #24, which was right on the lake. I had water and electricity and beautiful sunsets and brilliant starry nights. Camp staff was awesome, friendly and professional. Well kept grounds. Bath house was out of commission due to the winter storm, but it wasn't an issue. A week wasn't long enough and I definitely want to stay again.

We loved site #24. It’s right on the water, and the sites are very nicely spaced. The restrooms and showers on that loop are nasty and need to be shut down until they are rebuilt. We used the showers at the prior loop, and they were better.
