Site 11 was excellent. Close to bathhouse, level enough that we didn't have to use any blocks for side to side. Will be going back.

I stayed 4 days at this beautiful campground. The views were amazing and there were deer everywhere. The lady at the gate was a total doll and gave me weather updates upon my arrival daily. The showers and rest rooms were so clean. The cleanest showers Ive ever used. I will definitely return to this peaceful retret

Stayed in site 11, a little sloped for our 40 motorhome but we mad ir work with a couple of leveling boards. Electric water and sewer connection functioned well. Showers and bathroom were clean and funtioned well. Had a great view of the lake. Only minor issue we had was oak trees need trimming as they had branches hangin low. Grass was a little overgrown. Will come back if ever in the area again. Park was also very well located to visit the Waco area.

We always enjoy Airport Park. Why are the sites not cleaned anymore? I have noticed the last 3 months of camping , there used to be a crew of ladies in silver pickups that cleaned and raked the site after the previous campers left?

Everything was good. The showers and restrooms could have been cleaner. We have camped there before and they were much cleaner.

This place is beautiful. The COE entrance person was very nice and helpful.

This is a beautiful park with views of Waco Lake from nearly every camping spot. While there are no hiking trails in the campground, if one walks all roads it gives a nice 5 mile walk. The restrooms are typical for a pubic park-not as clean as your home, but work when you need it. We had a tornado threat when we stayed recently and the restroom was a "good" tornado shelter as it was fully concrete-roof too! Being called Airport Park means you will hear aircraft, but we didn't hear them after dark. You are very close to everything for shopping yet have a nice feel being on a lake. We are going back to stay again! Great value for the price!

Park is clean and easy to hook up. My site actually had a dump pipe there so I didn't have to dump on the way out.

Nice camping by lake waco. We camped in the first area by park entrance. Nice bathroom close to camper. spent one night and enjoyed the lake views.

There is a manned gate at the entrance to the park. The woman working the entrance was very nice and helpful. When we arrived at our campsite,#11, it was neat and clean. We had FHU. The crushed granite had been raked. We had a nice view of the lake from our site. We would definitely return.

Gate staff were very friendly and made us feel like we were at home the minute we arrived. Restrooms and showers were cleaned every morning and the campgrounds were very clean. Definitely plan on returning in the future.

Had a great time! Our grandkids had an Easter egg hunt and went fishing and even swimming. Restrooms were very clean and shower and it was so peaceful!

Well worth visiting. The problem getting into the park after hours is in dire need of repair.Had a Medical emergency that required a Hospital visit. Left before gate closure and was at Hospital until 2:30 amArrived back at park and couldn't get back in until 6am. I have stayed in other COE parks that have coded gates and there was never a problem getting in after gate closure. Fortunately this was a 1st for me at Waco. I hope never again. This should be addressed and w\should be an easy fix.

We have stayed here 6 or 7 times. We enjoy it immensely. Mammoth National Monument is very close. Fishing is good. Sun sets are beautiful. Saw a Cougar on this visit. Restrooms and showers are clean.

Airport RV park is a little known Army Corps of Engineers gem in Waco, TX, tucked away out by the airport with beautiful Lake Waco as the masterpiece that surrounds it. We enjoyed a full view of the lake, there really are no bad spots with plenty of space between you and your neighbors. The roads are plenty big enough to maneuver; we were in spot 11, but if we go back we'll try to get 12. We have a 43ft coach with a tow vehicle and had no issues. The lake is absolutely beautiful, we just wished we'd been there in nicer swim weather. It's worth the stay, if you enjoy quiet, nature and the beauty of waking up to a sunset over a lake. The park is well cared for and folks are very friendly.

Waco's Airport Park by Lake Waco is an outstanding facility. The sites are all lake side which presents beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets. There is a large amount of distance between spaces so that you are not bothered by the activities of other campers. Restroom facilities are well maintained. When you check into your site, the ground has been raked, and the fire/barbecue pits are cleaned out. Excellent place to stay!

Site 11 was in perfect condition...well taken care of and all. We really like Airport Park and will continue to visit here. The lady in the check in booth was extremely friendly as well!!

I love the screen shelters. We always have a great time when we stay. However this time would have been better if the grassy areas around the shelters had been mowed. The weeds were knee high. We were at site 1&2 and I was just disappointed that we had to wade through knee high weeds.

Nice park as always. The only drawback was I had to take a back in spot on the first loop. I didn't go to the second loop to see if there were any pullthrough spots or if it was even open. I had to make my reservation on the phone instead of my laptop so that is probably the reason. The water presure was a little high but it didn't blow up my plumbing.

Always a great experience at Airport park. Appreciated seeing the park host come through multiple times during our stay..even say a police unit come through. We will be back!
