Airport Park is a beautiful park. Been there twice before. It is well kept and neat. Really enjoyed the park!

The staff was amazing. They were all very helpful and caring. Airport Park has been a favorite for us. The reason we only gave three stars is the downturn on maintenance. The park used to be completely mowed and sites clean with very few bad stickers. Since mowing is so slack, the very harsh sand burs are taking over. Also, fire ant beds were becoming more of an issue. Dog owners beware.

We love this park. Sites are well-maintained and park employees are wonderful! Our only negative is that there isnt a gate with a code so that we can enter after 10 pm. We had to leave a Baylor basketball game early to beat our curfew. However, we highly recommend the campground.

Pros: The lake is BEAUTIFUL and the lots are nice. Our picnic table had a a shelter over it, which certainly helps during extreme heat. It was a quiet and spacious area. There were lots of trees and shade. Cons: You will not find it by GPS. There are no clear signs to this park. The restrooms and showers are HORRIBLE! They are dirty, not kept up (no soap in ANY of the dispensers, spider webs everywhere, the mirrors are streaked with white stuff). I am so thankful we had full hook-ups, and I had a small shower of my own. If you aren't concerned about showers, it's no big deal. If you are, this is not the place for you.

This is one of our all time favorite parks. The spacious sites with your very own covered picnic area, beautiful lake, room to bike and hike and friendly staff make it a 10!!!!!

We stayed here to be close to the Ironman Waco, and it worked out perfectly. It was a great home base, and we intend to go back for a relaxing week or weekend in the future. Very well maintained, large spots.

My site was very nice. Plenty of room and a covered picnic table. I had a fire pit and a grill. I had a great time!

Beautiful! The incoming gates closed at 10pm and open at 6am but not a problem for us. It was a BEAUTIFUL site overlooking Waco Lake. We stayed in #58. It was close to the restrooms. It had a large picnic area with a covered table and large grass area with a fire pit and BBQ. The lady at the check-in hut was super nice too. Deer along the treeline made it just that much better. Could not have asked for a better experience.
