The campsite was great, restrooms were adequate, security was good (gate code needed in order to enter & gates locked at night, but the water level of Lake Belton was really low. The boat ramp near us was closed and we had to drive to find a spot to fish.

Staff was very nice which we would give 5 stars and the bathrooms were very clean but the lots had stickers ( goat heads) and the picnic tables were almost unusable due to seats warped and nails raised…we would come back though

During broad daylight, we had an new expensive tow behind tube stolen off our picnic table. The park ranger made it very clear that she had no interest in helping us. She was rude, evasive and showed no concern for our loss.
Absolutely refused to investigate or even discuss the matter in any way.
If you go here, (which I suggest not) do not leave anything unlocked, even in middle of the day.

Very clean very quiet. Should of been packed this is very nice park.

Perfect location! All amenities worked as stated. Ample parking. Love the peace and quiet. The park hostess was very informative and friendly! We will be back.
