It was cold we had the park to ourselves. Site 305 is pretty good.

Campsite was grown up. Very very tall grass and lots of debris on the pad. Had to go home and get weedeater and blower. It was awful.

We had a beautiful setting backing up to the water. We were the only camper in our section, which gave us space. Otherwise, it would feel crowded. Pads for the campsite were new and wide enough to put the steps down and still be on concrete. Roads within the sections are narrow with sharp bends. Roads running thru the campground were covered with leaves, so it was not possible to see the edges of the road. Bathrooms had tiles falling down and did not look clean. The town of Jefferson is nearby, which is interesting to explore. The campground also had lots of deer to watch.

The driveway was nice level concrete and easy to back into. The fire pit was huge and nice for cooking outside. We really enjoyed our visit to the town of Jefferson.

Can't beat the area or the sites

We had a trailer in the 305 spot and it was amazing. If you are outside there is no shade so bring a canopy. The fire pit is quite large. Bring firewood it's expensive in the local shops. You can't have a more beautiful sunrise or sunset! We were within walking distance of two restrooms and saw many deer in the morning. It was a quiet relaxing weekend.

A bit off the beaten path, nice site with great view of lake, no map provided to help locate site though.

Camp host extremely helpful and friendly. Went out of his way to accomodate us when we arrived after closing time. Park is beautiful. Lives up to it's name with the beautiful pine trees. Highly recommend this park.

Really enjoyed our stay at Johnson Creek. The park was clean and well laid out. Plenty of dumpsters which is a plus for Corp park. We will be back

The RV spots are super easy to pull in/out of and all have water views. Some loops are very close to one another but not a deal breaker. The one dump station is on the incoming side of the narrow roadway coming in with low hanging branches if in a 5er and the roadway gets very congested on Sunday afternoon so plan accordingly. Overall our stay was great and we did not use it as a fish camp but as a base camp for exploring Jefferson about 20 miles away.

We love Camping here! Have tent camped here for a few years then upgraded to an RV. Johnson Creek has set the standard for us when we look for other camp grounds and no one else has come close! The RV pads are nice and level and easy to get into and set up. This is our favorite place to go!
