We had spot E406. Easy back in, clean concrete that's leveled. 180 degree view of lake and can pull boat right up to the camp in a cove safe from large waves. EXCELLENT VISIT, LOVE THE FOLKS THAT TAKE CARE OF IT!!! We'll be back soon!!!

This is a beautiful park. I have come hear for years but they have improved many of the campsites and many of them are water front sites. The park personnel is also helpful and very friendly. There is good fishing and much wildlife to see. Jefferson, TX is only 15-20 minutes from the park and is a neat little town to visit.We will continue to visit Johnsons Creek.

Friendly host. Freshly mowed. We saw camp hosts driviving around frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly, since campground was very crowded. Enjoyed!

Beautiful campsite! Very clean. Camp host at the gate was so friendly and helpful. We love Johnson Creek and Lake O Pines!

Johnson Creek is our favorite campground. Sites are beautiful with views of the water from every site. Level concrete pads make set up a breeze. Love this park!

Only gave a very good review because the dump station was out of service for a week while we were camping. This should have been a high priority repair imo, but was still out of service when we left. Otherwise, Johnson Creek park was great.

Staff was excellent, campsite was great, and no afterhours drive through traffic, as we have noted in some of the other COE parks.

So disappointed with our stay at Johnson Creek/Lake O the Pines. The lack of upkeep and the rude gate attendants this year on our vacation were just enough to make us not want to come back. Over 30 years of family vacation memories there, but we will go somewhere else next year.

Enjoyed our stay. We normally stay at Brushy Creek but since it isn't open we go to Johnson's creek as a second choice. The only reason Bushy is first choice is because of it's location e.g. it's closer to our home. I really like the layout and lake location of Johnson's creek and we're planning to visit it again several times this year.
