We have stayed at Johnson Creek a few times. We were at camp site E108, R1. We would probably stay at Johnson Creek more often, put the full hookup sites are limited. The biggest issue during our stay this time were the ants. We came prepared, but they still found a way inside our travel trailer. Also, there was a strong sewer smell coming from somewhere due to the wind direction.Overall, a very nice park and we will be back.

We had our grandkids for a few days and we went camping at Johnson's Creek at the Lake of the Pines. We did not expect to find such a nice playground facility for the grandkids. It was too early in the year for swimming, but the swimming area is near and very nice. We were at camp space E108. They have sewer hook up at this location, however it is not on the same level as the space. It is about 15 to 18 inches is higher. This caused my sewer line to run uphill and kept the sewer line full. It worked, but if you have any problem such as a leak or the coupling to come loose, it would be a disaster and you have to carefully lift the line high enough for it to drain before you unhook or you will have a mess. My suggestion is to choose any space but E108 in this area. The others appear to be installed correctly or if you have a taller RV or can drive upon some tire lifts you would be ok.

The sewer connection was UPHILL from our motor home connection. We had to go outside and pick up hose regularly for sewer to flow in to disposal. After 2 days in the rain, we asked to move to another sight. The park manager would not change us on computer. I called myself and was told all he had to do was modify our reservations. As far as I know that was never done.

Really nice campground. RR could use a little cleaning and updating, but given Covid and limited use, it was ok. Wish it had sewer.
