Only thing keeping me from giving Johnson creek 5 stars is that it wasnt mowed. Other than that loved it.

Favorite place to camp love the volunteers they are great. They keep it clean and quiet. They do what they have to do for anything they need to.

Great site, beautiful lake, clean restrooms - but in need of some love and care and repair.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Bathroom wasnt too far away, was very clean, and scenery was hard to beat!Wish the tent pads were just a little bit bigger but that didnt hamper our experience!Love it here!

Beautiful lake, camp settings were first rate, restroom facilities were average, camp staff was helpful though annoyingly heavy-handed in her oversight. I was confronted by the attendant at my reserved campsite on day 2 of 4 after entering late in the day. She thought I was crashing the park. I was the lone tent camper that day, and one of 2 total tent campers in the park the day before. Regardless, I would recommend this park for its tent camping and its views of the lake.

Reserved a camping spot in the tent area at least a month in advance but when I arrived it was occupied. The person that was in that spot had been there at least a month and a half. The corps should have a limit on stays like BLM land out west, this guy was obviously living there. The park was full so the people at the gate put me in a empty volunteer spot which was OK cause I was only staying one night. The corps needs to review their policies regarding length of time a spot can be occupied.

Good location, very good and big tent sites, very unhappy that the tent restrooms were out of order all weekend and no one on the grounds could tell us why or when they would open had to go quarter mile to the closest bathroom.

Water was high when we got there, but no big problem on our camp site have camped in this area many times, were visited by the deer and many different kinds of birds! Love this area and camping here.
