Campsite was unkept. Fire pit was full of ashes when we arrived. Stray dog not on a leash bothering everyone. Called front gate and park ranger nothing was done. The dog chewed up our shoes and grandsons toys.

the stay was great and the scenery was excellent it was peacful and very relaxing until the grounds keeper showed up explaining all the rules and regulations like if we were doing something wrong I think he was bored and decided to play owner of the park we were respectful and decided to not be confrontational like him and agreed with his pathetic little rules which made us feel like little children (he was much younger) and that made our stay uncomfortable

The grounds are well maintained, most of the campers were very friendly and respectful! The amount of deer walking around the park was incredible! We had a great time and cant wait to come back again soon!

Worked with us on changing RV spot due to the original one was too small. Was a little disappointed to find out that there were only four (4) of the full hook up spots with 50 amp service, but thank goodness for cool weather.

This campground was quite good. The campsites were level (most I've been to aren't) and had everything I needed. Electrical, water, sewage, fire ring, picnic table and very friendly hosts. The last thing being the most important. I talked to a couple of them and they were more than eager to help me out. I'll definitely come back this way and stay again.

I wanted to give you some feedback from our stay. We moved to the 226 that we agreed to but we were not pleased. We had huge campers all the way around us and was not able to see the small children we took with us unless they were directly in-front of our camper. The campers surrounding us mush have all been friend or relatives due to the fact they were walking back and forth from camp site. The family members we were camping with were on the other side of the camping area. Which happened to be quite empty. If we had known there wasnt going to be other campers by the 214 site we would have stayed there. There were several better options than the 226. The park ranger stopped by to tell us we couldnt have a small tent on the leaves. We immediately took the tent down but quickly noticed the camper across from us had a small tent and the campsite around the curve actually had 2 tents in the leaves, plus one in the tent pad.

sitting by the campfire, sipping coffee as the sun was coming up - 4 deer to the left, 5 deer to right - amazing.the park and campgrounds were very clean and not too busy at that time of the year.
