The park was not well maintenanced. Grass around RV needed mowing/weedeating badly.

The park location was good. Had a good view of the Lake and access to it from our site. But I had to weedeat around the water hookup and a walk way for the kids to walk to our/their friends sites. Also only one bathroom station worked with was quit a ways away from our site, and this was Memorial weekend. Also the kids playground had a slide and swingthats it. All in all a good time there with friends.

Buckhorn use to be a beautiful park! Now its not! Grass is not mowed and the weeds/grass was horrible!! The site was not clean and the fire pit was filled with cigarette butts! Whats happened?? We have stayed there several times, but if not cleaned up we will go elsewhere!

Nice quiet area, great walking at the tent section (which was empty) including the gravel roads behind it in a lovely forested area. Few campers, shopping not too far and even some TV channels available. There was a very festive Christmas light/decoration contest at another campground on the same lake (COE also)That was very fun and spirited to the holiday!

Park is clean and well kept. Just need more camping spots. All of the local Government and State parks are full this time of year. It is extremely difficult to find a place to camp.

All well done.

I know it has rained a lot but there has been 2-3 weeks with no rain. The grounds needed to be mowed desperately. Our campsite was a smaller area and more rocky and hilly, so the tall grass wasn’t as bad as a lot of other campsites. The park is nice and we would return to this area. Jefferson is about 15 minutes away and we’ll worth the trip.
