Site E115 is an average campsite. All site utilities were functional, but water ponds at the back end of the parking pad and there are some holes that present a tripping hazard next to electrical hook up. Not many amenities such as fuel, food, firewood, hardware or ice near the park's entrance. However, I would not discourage camping at this site and would consider staying at the campground again.

There are some very serious electrical issues happening inside this park. Campers are being damaged due to electrical problems at several campsites. Costing people hundreds of dollars to repair and the head park ranger believe his name is Cody something continues to say there isnt a problem. People are having to move from campsite to campsite to find one with correct power. This problem has been going on since December and its now February and there is still sites closed because of electrical problems. This has always been a great park with great folks at the gate and great guest. From what I have seen and heard dont come here to camp without a serge protector for your rv!! Have seen 2 damaged while camped here.

The campground has been under a boil water notice for a year. This is unacceptable and the excuses are many. When we inquire they tell us it should be off the boil water notice as early as that day or in a few days. The overall maintenance on this nice campground is lacking.

Just an overnight stop for us but it was one the way. Had to have a reservation which we made while we were parked at the ranger gate shack because they no longer take cash in the park. Reasonable water and electric site with nice view. We enjoyed all the antique stores in Jefferson.

We arrived to have someone else in our spot! It was an hour before check in tome at 2! I called
The office then sent the volunteer down and he told us we had to call and see if someone was in our spot before coming’. We have camped
many times at this lake and never had an issue! We were made to feel as if this was our fault for showing up early! There was no one at the camp packing up to move. The volunteers at
the gate called
The number on the reservation and the mother of the occupant showed up and was upset because we wanted them to move. They finally moved to a different spot about 4;30 which was two and a half hours on our dollar! I have never been treated this way by a Corp of
Engineer park ever!
