We stayed at Buckhorn Creek on Lake O' Pines for 4 nights last week of October. We had never been here before and were excited to explore the area. The entry sign is small and even with google we passed it and had to turn around and go back. Our site was right on the water and provided beautiful views of the lake and many species of birds. There is a boat ramp, shower houses and plenty of areas to walk our dog. This park has fullhookups and hopefully we can get one of those when we come back next year.

Campground is deteriorating. No camp hosts, hence very little maintenance activity. Holes in campsites need filling, sink plumbing in bathhouse running full time. Grounds havent been mowed in some areas in quite sometime.

The park host was nice, the Ranger very nice; however, the site and park itself were terrible. Our site was in terrible shape. Hadn't been cleaned in forever. The fire pit full of trash and at least 50 cigarette buts. We will not return to this park.

Campground needs updating. Feels shabby and neglected. Landscaping was poorly done. Grass was not cut in a timely manner and was done carelessly.

The park staff keeps the facilities nice and clean. This campground is so relaxing, and has beautiful views of the lake.

We have been guest at Buck Horn Creek when traveling through the area for over 6 years. I have noticed a great improvement in the bathroom and shower facilities. There is still room for improvement but has come a long way since the buzzards roosted on the roof. Everything else is great the host are nice and have never had any issues with other campers. We appreciate the ones who keep COE parks available to us.Thanks, Carrol and Pam

The sites were clean and the people were nice. The one drawback is, they've cut all the shade trees out. It got pretty hot middle of July heat.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great site on the lake watching the Pelicans and other water birds. The surrounding area has much to see and do, especially Jefferson.

Very scenic area with an excellent view of the lake from our site. The majority of the sites at this park have good water views with easy access to the water. The bathrooms are clean and the park is well maintained.

Waterfront site was enjoyable. Our site was not long enough for 40 ft motorhome and towed truck. Two driveway dump station was convenient.

Great Park. We are frequent visitors to this park as we have family in Jefferson. During this stay we saw Bald Eagles on multiple days flying right over our camp.
