Staff very friendly and helpful. Cut trip short due to a burn ban imposed (by county) the first morning there - but we'll be back.

This park was quiet, beautiful with an awesome view of the Lake of the Pines. I enjoyed walking in the trees and met ( as usual) some very nice campers around me. I want to come back.πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Beautiful views, but boat is needed to enjoy the campground. Heavier traffic with cars and people. The playground was four swings, a metal slide, and one ride-on motorcycle; lacked activities for littles. Campground shower/bathroom was locked during our stay with no warning or posted signage. Some regulars of the park did inform us that due to the heavy rain the sandy area for easy swimming access was flooded but existed. They recommended Johnson Creek off nearby due to a better playground.

It was a good getaway. The staff was friendly and willing to assist when needed. The lake is clean and well maintained. Will come again but it could use an upgrade.

We were on site E127 for 12 days Its a nice site on top of the hill but in a busy area with lots of boaters using the ramp. The campground is well maintained but the bathrooms really need to be updated. I didnt use the showers in the upper facilities and I wouldnt.

love this lake and glad I live so close to enjoy it. Whether its camping at my favorite spot at Buckhorn or just riding around the beautiful roads around it on motorcycle. Friendly and always very helpful at the gate.

What a great RV park at Lake of the Pines, Henderson, Texas! I really enjoyed the park, the facilities, and the host couple who were a real hoot! It was so quiet and peaceful. Hats off the the Corps of Engineers for this one!
