Buckhorn is our favorite place to camp. We live on the Spring Hill area of Longview and only a 45 minute drive. We have several sites that are our favorites. The Sunset's here are always so beautiful. The park is well kept and clean restrooms and showers. Great [place to meet people and everyone is always so friendly. We camp here on average 6 times a year. Thank you for such a wonderful campground.

The campsites need to be mowed more often I always bring a mower and had to mow my own site grass was almost as tall as the electric box

We spent 3 days at Buckhorn, it was very peaceful. Very nice campsites, not crowded together. The grounds were clean and well taken care of. My only complaint would be that i wish the ground keepers would spend more time clearing the weeds & brush closer to the lake. But it is a very nice park and will most definitely come back.

The nearest bathrooms were out of order and the grass around the site looked like hasnt been mowed in weeks. Holiday weekend especially everything should be in tip top shape.

This is a gorgeous lake and a nice small campground. Our spot was perfect and overlooking the lake. Fall colors were all around and the quaint town of Jefferson and a drive through safari gave us plenty to do nearby. Would be 5 stars if full hookups.

We love camping at Buckhorn Creek. It is quiet with beautiful views of Lake o the Pines. The campground is clean and sites are level.

Nice quiet park with plenty of shade in section 'R'. Boat ramp seemed pretty nice. We had a good view of the lake from site 139, which I think is the best site in the park, with a wooden deck. Jefferson is a neat little town nearby with tourist shops and a number of interesting things.There is a fairly large area for tent campers also.It's a good place to stay and like most COE parks does not have sewer hookups but does have a dump station. It's a good park and we will go back.

Love our stay at Buckhorn. Especially like the site. It has a wood deck at the base of our RV steps. WOW!!!

Buckhorn Creek is a very nice campground. We especially like the cement pad and walking out to our own private wood deck. E139 is a special site which I highly recommend. The grass was not mowed??? Toilet tissue was not always available in the bathroom???

We have enjoyed our stay at Buckhorn Creek many times. We will continue to book here. We are concerned about future stays, who will be caring for the facilities in the future, and if our Senior Pass will continue to be honored if/when state/county takes over these parks. Please keep us informed. We are watching Georgia park changes.Bathrooms need better and more frequent cleaning and especially updating and maintenance, one is very much old.

Site 87 was on a peninsula and at the tip. Thus it was like camping in your own campground, no one close. Bathrooms were not clean. Out of toilet paper a couple of times. Door on handicap shower falling away from wall as screws were taken out of top.

We had a great time at Buckhorn. The small town of Jefferson was nearby. It was super fun to visit their uptown area. We also visited other parks and campgrounds at Lake of the Pines. Very nice area. We also visited a state park nearby.

We had a site that had a deck. It was beautiful scenery. Also very peaceful. The only drawback were the Asian ladybugs, so.e hitched a ride ho.e with us.
