They need to clean the restrooms they were dirty

Sandy Creek was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time there. (Excluding surviving our first tornado warnings as RVers. 😂) We had a problem with our electric connection and the host was immediately responsive. We will be going there again.

Were were in sites 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. These sites are great and we were right at the dock which let the kids in the group fish. Park host and Rangers were all great. I won't lie we are a rowdy bunch when we all get together, but we respect quiet times and park rules which made our interactions with the host and Rangers a great experience. Sandy Creek as a whole is a terrific park and close to Martin Dies Park which is where our family grew up going to.

We had sites 20 and 21 at Sandy Creek - two beautiful spots right on the lake. We arrived on a Sunday and departed on Friday morning - the park was quiet and enjoyable! It was clean and well cared for; a beautiful park! Each picnic table was covered - which was great - but at site 20, I couldn't put my awning all the way out, due to the closeness of the picnic table to the site pad.... that was a little inconvenient, but we worked around it without a real problem! Can't wait to go back to Sandy Creek, and next time, I think we will try to reserve site numbers 21 and 22 - I have a longer RV that would fit better in one of those sites, possibly eliminating the awning problem!

What a beautiful park! The views are great, spaces are wide open and clean. The picnic table is covered and the fire pit ready to use. The staff is very nice. The concrete slab was tilted a little bit side to side, but other than this small inconvenience, Sandy Creek is perfect.
