Excellent campground right on the lake. The sites are nicely spaced out and the dump station was clean. Wish they had a playground for the kids but other than that nice quiet campground.

There are four camping areas (one is tent only - no elec/water), almost all sites are on water. Sites are level and very spacious. The park is quiet and beautiful, with lots of hiking/biking trails as it connects to Martin Dies Jr State Park on its northern border. There are three bath houses with flush toilet, running water and showers. They are clean but dated (metal toilets with no seats, push button showers). Some sites can have a long walk to the bathroom, so check that out before reserving. The lake is beautiful and lots of fishing. There are 3 boat launches and a a canoe launch. The dump station was being upgraded on our visit.

Probably my least favorite COE campground I’ve been to. Wife has mobility issues and the 12 inch drop off at the site where the steps come down was problematic. Signage to get in and out could be better.

A very nice park with a nice trail to Martin Dies State Park. Site facilities are very good. The restroom was dirty and needs upgrading.

The bathrooms are old, and the stalls have mildew and mold growing on the walls. That was the only flaw we noticed. It's a beautiful campground. Host were very friendly and helpful.
