The campground is excellent and well taken care of. We had an excellent time. I would love for there to be a playground for the kids and if that could be added that would be great.

We love sandy creek park but the knats were terrible while we were there. Nothing to do with the park though. We always have a great time when we go.

The park is very nice, laid out well. The road has been recently repaved. Now the county could take a hint from them, the road from US 190 leading to the park is really rough. The park was great, The County road 156, from US 190 to the park needs work. County road 155 was worse. The only thing we encountered was a pesky redbird that was intent on fighting his reflection on the truck mirrors, a couple of small trash bags over the mirrors helped. We will be back

Been camping here for years. The park is clean and kept up. All the sites inside the park are spacious with table covers.

Campsites are nice, but there were way too many dogs not on leashes. We bring a dog and its on a leash always when outside. There were 6-10 dogs running loose with people even cutting through our campsite with 2 dogs unleashed. When we went on a bike ride two free roaming pit-bulls from a camp down from us knocked my daughter off her bike .Mentioned it to camp monitor and they acted like I was lying. Doubt we'll be back and we have camped there many times.
