Park host or personal on Old Folks Loop mowed grass within 20 feet of camp fire ring. Park host on same loop also played music louder than park rules allow. Also camp across lake at another Sandy Creek park site played music so loud we could not enjoy the peace and quite rest with it and the boom boom boom beat. Even having the Parks and Wildlife ranger visit the site, he only asked them to turn it down. We could still here the music and bass noise which is still unlawful according to park rules.

Park Hosts are friendly and very helpful. When I made my original reservation by looking at camp map I chose a site that shows it's on the water, upon arrival I found site ACROSS THE STREET from the water, wasn't happy. Miss Cyndi was able to help me change my site to a waterfront site. AWESOME LADY

Be aware that you no longer need to check in at the gate. An attendant will come by your site.

It was nice and quite. We enjoyed the view of the lake. The space was nice, but hard to level up on. We had a good time there.

We stayed at site 29 for four days and then at site 74 for four days in Jan 2020. We use Verizon and site 29 had a good signal (for phone use) but no bandwidth as we couldnt stream anything. The campground was very nice and the host, Neal, was very helpful. We had some bad weather pending and Neal made a special trip to warn us and give us places to go if we needed to evacuate. We would come back!

Campgrounds are always clean. This is our favorite space so far. We have a list of spaces to try. Bathrooms are immaculate. The whole area is clean, quite and beautiful year round. Some of the best camp host ever.
