Site was awsome and entries are good. Had issues with the 30 amp breaker feeding the camper. Our camper doesn't draw 30 amps and the breaker kept tripping. I think the breaker is just worn out. Also the faucet had evidently not been used in a while and the wayer smaller like rotten egs for about the first 50 gallons of water. Site is beautiful, easy access for a 40' camper.

The campsite was great. Bathroom was clean. Trails are almost nonexistent and the only trail that I'm aware of appeared to be not maintained. However, being a fisherman's park, trails are probably not high on the priority list (just my assumption). The playground was nice but had no benches so there was nowhere to sit while watching the kiddos. The sunsets here are amazing! Our stay was during cool weather; I doubt that we would go here during the heat of summer because the campsite only has 30 amp service. Therefore we would not be able to run two air conditioners.

Although a very old park, we truly enjoy staying here. Our spots were right on the water and the lake and weather were beautiful!

This is a quiet park with beautiful views of Sam Rayburn. There aren't a lot of cleared trails or things to do, but it is still a family favorite park for us. Just outside the main gate, there is a small store that serves yummy looking, home-cooked food. The main camp bathroom (by the boat ramp) is clean & well-lit. My family stayed over Thanksgiving, and taking a shower (when it was cold outside) was hit or miss for warm water. It was either perfectly hot, almost warm, or so cold it felt like an hazing/initiation (sometimes all 3 during the same shower, lol). The women's bathroom (near the 80-100s sites) is missing lights, so don't go without a lantern at night.
