The park is wonderful and the campground hosts were very nice. BUT........on day two a war started. We learned that there is a house across the street where a group of men shoot off semi-automatic rifles regularly, ALL DAY LONG! It was truly horrendous. We packed up and left the next day because we were informed that sometimes they do this for several days in a row. So sad because it really is a beautiful campground.

Host were great help. Unlike some parks I enjoyed the host.

We saw work on the sites in the last loop. Hope all the pads get redone. The crumbling pads make it a bit of a challenge for those of us with some mobility issues. Outside of that we love camping at Hanks. Good access to the water, lots of shade and peaceful

Hanks Creek has always been my place to camp but this time it was crowded and people were being rude.

Love spot #9! Camp host, Harry, was so helpful...we arrived in our RV but left our tow a 1/2 mike away with a flat. Harry helped us figure out what spots would be available for a few more days while we got our flat fixed.
