This park is a GEM in the wilderness of Texas. Hosts are on it, every aspect of our visit was top notch (less internet connectivity)

The park seems to be outdated. Many of the sites have deteriorating asphalt making it difficult to maneuver around the outside of the rig. The hookups worked very well. Our power remained steady and water pressure was good. The bathrooms were nasty. The one at the bottom near the boat ramp was horrible and the one up near the dump was better, but still could be better. I think most of the issues with the park are due to last year's flooding. Our site (#16) was not very flat either. The camp hosts were very friendly and offered helpful advice. The area around our site was all downhill making it difficult to setup chairs and other items. I would most likely not camp here again.
