We chose to spend Thanksgiving at Hank Creek. We had a great time. We met new friends and saw friends we have not seen in a long time. We stayed in site 17 which was great. Perfect location the view was great.

We only got to stay two days of nine days reserved because of flooding conditions. The two days we stayed was raining and very windy. We hope to be able to return at another time. The park is very nice.

Everything was really good except for the water hookup. It seems that the water is very slick, perhaps now on a water softener system. The water is very slick, hard to wash off, still feels really soapy. When you get a glass of water in the kitchen it’s full of bubbles. We would slip in the shower, the floor got so slippery. It was a real hazard. We have camped here many times and never had this issue. At the park entrance there was water gushing out from a pipe mist days when we would leave the park. It looks like a new water system?? Surely they can back off of the softening a bit.

We had a wonderful four days fishing with grandkids, having a weiner roast and visiting by the campfire.
