Our original site was closed due to flooding so we moved to another site that said it could fit up to a 40 trailer. Ours is 32.Thank goodness my husband can maneuver & backup well because that sites trees were so close together & over grown we barely fit. We were basically jack knifed in the spot. Still love COE parks but will try to Google Earth next time before making a reservation at McCown

Always a great place to camp. The Thanksgiving family camps tended to be late and loud this time. The reduced security made it more uncomfortable than ever before. Otherwise, excellent.

Site is very good, and full of shade. Kids play area is super my 8 year & 3 year kids enjoyed very well. We had very good time in the camping.

Our campsite #30 is a pull-through and is rated for a forty foot rig we have a 36 foot class A motorhome. The site had a sharp dogleg bend with trees close to the pad on both sides. There were large branches that would hit the front edge of the roof of our motorhome if we drove in as specified. We moved to the other end and just had enough room to back-in half way with the nose just off the road. This required three spotters. We used three 2 X 12 boards stacked up under both rear tires and one under the right front tire to make the coach close to level. Because of the trees we could only put one room out. otherwise it was a beautiful site.

We stayed at McCowan Valley Park from Apr 9-12,2021. It was amazingly clean. Restrooms were cleaned several times a day. We will definately be back

We drove into McGown Valley and the Park Ranger Jan was in the office. Very lovely person!
Our site was a very nice site. It was very heavily treed and we did have some issues trying to enter and exit. So next time would not select that side of the park if we had a choice. The park is lovely and we will return. We did have one hick up as a directly across from our campsite the day after we arrived a large group moved into the site. They put up 4 tents had about 4 cars and were over the limit of people for one site. This totally blocked our view.
Other than this one item we had a lovely time.
